To shade your drawings start with something simple. A ball for instance. Draw it at the bottom of the paper. Then draw a tiny circle at the top of the paper. Then on the left or right side of the ball start doing nice straight lines that touch the ground/bottom of paper. Keep on doing it until you see a lot of black lines but still white space left. There. You have a shaded ball. Now go draw some more shaded drawings.
